Jaguar Land Rover’ Classic Department built this ultimate Defender to mark the 70th anniversary and end of production for the original Defender model. Featuring a 5-litre V8 engine, automatic gearbox and bespoke specification, it was limited to just 150 examples which sold out within days of being unveiled.

Built from the ground up at the state-of-the-art purpose-built Classic Works facility in Coventry, the Defender boasts a completely overhauled drivetrain. The car is powered by a 5.0-litre V8, helping the car achieve 0-60 mph in just 5.6 seconds. The engine is complimented by an advanced ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox, completing each gear change in 200 milliseconds. The dual-speed transfer box with automatic torque biasing centre differential shifts up to 90% of torque to the front or rear axle as required.

With reconfigured suspension including improved springs and dampers, all-new 18 inch diamond-turned Sawtooth alloy wheels, and upgraded brakes, these upgrades provide driving confidence and ability far beyond any normal Defender.

Inside, the luxurious interior features heated Recaro sport-seats which, along with much of the other interior surfaces, are trimmed in Ebony and Ivory Windsor leather, as per the original press car. A classic looking DAB radio equipped with Bluetooth and Navigation helps retain an original look.

The Roma Red paintwork, complimented by the contrasting black roof and wheelarches is in fantastic condition. The exterior look is complete with the billet aluminium door handles and 70th Edition plaques. Moreover, this particular example benefits from Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) – a £5,000 option when new.

For peace of mind, this incredible Defender comes with a 12-Month Warranty and12 Months Breakdown Cover. The car also comes with it's original V8 numberplate as issued by Classic Works.
